Brian Leitch, EN’s Chief Finance & Operations Officer, presented proposals at the school board meeting on December 18, 2024, for replacing the playing field, track, field lighting, and adding RGB special effects lighting and a large digital video display.  This substantial spending topic was not clearly listed in the online meeting agenda. 

The board expressed a desire to vote on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

  • TOTAL $1.46M – $1.71M
    • $500k – Football playing field turf replacement – with options for traditional green, and “out of the box“ grey.
    • $315-560k – Polyurethane Track – costs vary with quality choices and additional cost options for royal blue exchange zones and fill-in “D zones”.
    • $323k – Digital video scoreboard 
    • $325k – LED white field lighting plus RGB add-on for special effects
